I’m still slowly doing things to my Jeep as I can afford it. While bored the other day I decided to call around and price a windshield. I decided I should try and shop loca. So I call the closest place that does auto glass, $250 and $250 isn’t worth is driving the twenty miles to you so you have to bring it in(she literally said $250 wasn’t worth it). Get annoyed by the phrasing and decide to check Safelite prices, $253 and they have to come 50-60 miles. Oh and I found a coupon code for $20 off. I scheduled the replacement for a good bit down the road so I will have the money and cannot talk myself out of it. Yay Project Heep Jeep!
Pointless and slightly annoying pictures for your time:

Check yellow pages for mobile glass I sold my jeep xj this spring (needed windshield to pass safety) and paid $95 installed in front of my house... I normally pick the most Hispanic sounding places to call first.

The price doesn't bother me since I paid so little for the Jeep. What annoys me is how the local place went about it. However, is mobile glass a chain name or just a generic name?

It is just a category in the yellow pages. Honestly the guy that came want Jose’s glass or something. ..
